Dentistry

Regular dental prophylaxis or cleanings is one of the most important procedures for your pet. Just like you, your pet needs dental care. To prevent periodontal or gum disease, your pet’s teeth should be brushed regularly, and this is the best way to control plaque, before it mineralizes into tartar. When plaque and tartar are present on teeth and under gums it creates foul mouth odor, gum disease, and eventually will lead to a heart problem. Every comprehensive physical examination in our hospital includes a thorough dental exam. If we find any abnormalities in your pet’s mouth, we will recommend a treatment plan, which is important for the overall health of your pet.
