Thank you for choosing Cahuenga Pet Hospital to provide medical care for your pet. We make every effort to provide reasonable costs for services, but modern veterinary care can be costly. Our fees are based on compensating our personnel, purchasing and maintaining our diagnostic equipment, and maintaining the hospital to insure the best medical treatment for your pet. We believe that undercharging will only lead to a decrease in our standards and therefore the quality of medicine that we provide for your pet.
In our continued effort to offer absolutely the best veterinary care at Cahuenga Pet Hospital, we offer the following payment options:
Payment in full is required when services are rendered. If your pet is hospitalized, full payment is expected based on medical treatment plan provided by the veterinarian in charge. If additional services were provided during your pet’s stay, the final payment is due at the time when your pet is discharged.
We accept credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash. Credit card must be signed by the credit card owner.
Following an examination of your pet, the veterinarian in charge will provide you with a detailed medical treatment plan and estimate for the cost of services, procedures, tests, drugs, and supplies to treat your pet.
Suggested medical treatment plan fees usually reflect only the initial diagnostic care and treatment, and may change based on your treatment decisions after the consideration of your own financial resources. You have the right to decline any or all treatment suggested for your pet.
Veterinary medical care today is more advanced, and at the same time more expensive due to rising costs of various factors, such as medical supplies, updated technologies, etc. Most pet owners have the same questions: “Can you recommend a good insurance company?” or “What should I get in order to save on veterinary care for my pet?”
Please read below and you might find an answer.
One of the options for the pet parents today is pet health insurance, which will provide financial support for your hurt or sick pet. But like medical coverage for people, pet insurance policies can be complicated and based on pet owner reimbursement. This means that pet owners are responsible to pay their veterinarian for services, and the insurance company will reimburse the owner after they receive a claim with veterinarian notes and paid invoice. Some of the major policy providers include: HealthyPaws Pet Insurance & Foundation, Petplan Pet Insurance, Embrace Pet Insurance, and Nationwide Pet Insurance. If your pet is sick or insured, please provide our front desk with the name of the insurance carrier for your pet at the time of admission.
Please Note: We do not endorse or recommend the services of any particular pet insurance provider, and strongly recommend that you research each insurance provider policy before enrolling. The links to pet insurance providers’ websites are provided for your convenience and information only.
